You’re the steady one in the room. Who’s steadying you?

All day you hold space for other people’s big feelings. Then the session ends, and you’re left replaying it.

Did I say the right thing? Did I miss something? And what do I do about the parent who emailed at 10pm?

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “I know the theory. I just don’t know what to do when a seven-year-old won’t talk to me through a screen.”

  • “My supervisor is great, but they don’t really work with kids.”

  • “I’m counting hours, but I want to actually grow, not just collect signatures.”

  • “Is everyone else making this up as they go, or just me?”

It’s not just you. It just means you care enough to keep asking.

Ways We Can Work Together

Virtual Group Supervision

A small group of 4 to 6 Virginia clinicians helping young clients through a screen. We meet twice a month on Google Meet to dig into keeping kids engaged, adapting play-based and trauma-focused work, parents and caregivers, and the tricky moments. Offered on a sliding scale, with a free 15-minute fit call before you join.

Individual Supervision

You’ve got your placement and your caseload. What you need is a supervisor who gets kids, teens, and families. I don’t provide clients or a placement. I come alongside the work you’re already doing, with one-on-one time to go deeper on your cases, your clinical identity, and your path toward licensure.

Consultation

Already licensed and want a thoughtful second set of eyes? Bring me a tricky child, teen, or family case, or questions about play, virtual work, or parent involvement.

What Supervision With Me Looks Like

  1. We start with you. It begins with a free 15-minute fit call. We’ll talk about where you are on your licensure path, what kinds of clients light you up, and what keeps you up at night.

  2. We bring the real stuff. That means case consultation, play and creative interventions, parent involvement, school and virtual logistics, ethics, and the questions you feel silly asking. No question is too basic. I promise I’ve asked it too.

  3. You grow into your own kind of clinician. You won’t become a copy of me. I’ll ask curious questions until you land on your own answers, then help you trust them.

Why Work With Me

I’ve been working with kids and teens since my camp counselor days, and supervising clinicians since I ran teen counseling internships at Ready Kids. I’m a Virginia Board-Approved Supervisor and LPC, trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, and play therapy. I’ve been doing virtual therapy with kids since 2020, so I know the screen-share-and-sand-tray life well.

I’m eclectic in how I play and how I teach. Supervision with me feels like a conversation, not a checklist. Expect warmth, a few metaphors, the occasional tangent (I’ll catch myself), and someone who notices patterns and believes in what you bring. Get to know me
